Quest\u2019ultima intesa come equilibrata ed efficiente utilizzazione delle risorse, ma anche nell&#8217;accezione pi\u00f9 ampia di tutela della salute e della qualit\u00e0 della vita dei cittadini. In un contesto tecnologico in cui non \u00e8 pi\u00f9 possibile diminuire il livello di pressione sonora si opera sul contenuto armonico per migliorare la qualit\u00e0 e ridurre il fastidio. Questo approccio ha portato la ricerca oltre i confini dell\u2019ingegneria aeronautica coinvolgendo ricercatori ed esperti in psicoacustica, modellazione della percezione, ingegneria del suono e medicina.
